Ralph Heath

Dr Ralph Heath is a senior fellow of the Water Institute of South Africa (SFWISA) and Business Unit Leader of Environmental Technology at Golder Associates Africa. His experience includes a wide range of environmental projects that range from Impact Assessments, Ecological Flow determinations, catchment water quality situation assessments, diffuse pollution assessments, catchment management strategy development, biological assessments and Habitat Integrity Assessment of rivers. He has successfully managed many large projects that relate to water supply in southern Africa and has published in excess of 30 peer reviewed articles and 5 scientific books. Ralph has ten years of research experience in passive mine water treatment. He is the past Chairman of IWA's Diffuse Pollution specialist group and a past President of the Water Institute of South Africa.
