Ed Topp

Dr. Ed Topp is a native of Montréal and is a senior research scientist with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada based in London, Ontario. He has an adjunct appointment in the Department of Biology of the University of Western Ontario. His area of interest is environmental chemistry and environmental microbiology. Dr. Topp’s research seeks to enhance the environmental performance of Canadian agricultural systems by minimizing the risk to water from contaminants carried in organic fertilizers of human or animal origin. These include ‘emerging’ microbial and organic contaminants.
