John Joyce

John Joyce is a water economist and policy analyst. He is a Project Manager at the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI). He has acquired professional expertise through working with EU Member State (MS) institutions on planning and implementation of EU and national water legislation. He is experienced in cost-benefit analysis; cost-effectiveness; institutional design and policy/advocacy. He has worked on groundwater; inland surface water, coastal and marine waters, linking resource use and environmental protection. He was advisory board member of the Defra (England & Wales) Chaired Demonstration Test Catchments and the EU FP6 Project: Aquamoney. He holds a wide range of contacts throughout the EU and internationally.
