Brook Harker

Brook Harker is Manager of the Watershed Evaluation of BMPs (WEBs) project, a cross-Canada study of the impact of improved agricultural land management practices on water quality. He works within the Agri-Environmental Services Branch (AESB) of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC). For the past 5 years, Brook has liaised closely with associated colleagues in the USDA and their similarly-styled CEAP (Conservations Effects Assessment Project). Brook was raised on a farm on the Canadian prairies. He holds a B.Sc. in Agronomy from Brigham Young University in Utah, and a M.Sc. in Soil Science from the University of Alberta. His interests cover a wide range of soil/water sustainability, policy and planning issues.
